Red Carpet Make-up Course
This Scene Club make-up course will give students a thorough induction into make-up they see around them on a daily basis from the simple daily look, evening look and red carpet look. The course will be state of the art, which includes using a high definition camera and monitor for viewing of make-up on the screen. The course will provide you with hands on experience giving you the confidence to do a variety of looks for yourself and others around you.
The price of the eight day course is 900 DHS per person.

This intense and tightly structured film course is specifically designed to understand the basics of filmmaking. The eight day course is an intense exploration of the medium through practical and hands-on work. The course will teach you the A-Z of filmmaking and give you the confidence to start with the right steps towards your first short film.
The price for the intense eight day course is 3,000 DHS with a 10% discount for students.
The course will be taught by Nayla Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai based film company D-SEVEN Motion Pictures. Nayla is the first UAE female film producer who has accomplished producing and directing a variety of projects.
Nayla graduated at Ryerson University in Canada, well known for its filmmaking program. She graduated in 2005 with a bachelor in image studies-filmmaking. On her return from Canada Nayla recognized the lack of financial support to the film industry in the UAE, however she did not stop in pioneering her dream and instead of loosing hope she went and found the resources to directing and producing her first documentary, “Unveiling Dubai”. Since then Nayla has directed and produced some of the most outstanding productions which include her own five minute short film “Arabana” which was premiered at the 2007 Dubai International Film Festival, produced “High Goal” 90 minute documentary for Rashid Al Habtoor, and was appointed as the cultural guide and co-host on Paris Hilton’s “My BFF Dubai” show.
In 2007 Nayla also founded and initiated The Scene Club, the first UAE film club that shows independent films with the presence of the director. The club has over 500 members attached and takes place once a month. Nayla is currently in post- production on her last short film “Once”, a fifteen- minute film that will be premiered at Dubai International Film Festival 2009.
